The Johar platform was designed as an artist-centric mechanism for attracting crowds to a performance without having to rely on existing venues and promoter marketing. By shifting the locus of control from the venue to the artist, we give the artist more agency and control over their self-expression than before because now the marketing mechanism is in their hands.

The beauty of this agency being in the hands of the individual artist means that this mechanism works equally well in an existing venue or in the park on a sunny spring day. In either case, the Johar platform will attract a crowd from the people around you. This also gives artists a more authentic medium to connect with fans and grow their following while introducing a bit of structured spontaneity into the lives of the audience members.
